    Yesterday evening I carried everything in with me except my climber, which I left on the tree 71 yards from the house. I had decided to sleep in this morning since I haven’t been seeing any deer moving on my property, especially behind the house.

    At 7:05 our little dog Dizzy woke me up growling. She was looking out the bedroom window. I thought “Surely not.”

    I walked out onto the back deck and was looking. My sleepy eyes didn’t see anything but I had to pee. This is the woods, so soon there I am peeing off the deck and a fawn runs up to within 15 yards of me. My eyes clear a bit and right there 25 yards behind the fawn are three does about 20 yards from my stand just staring at me.

    Sometimes it’s sucks being me. :lol:

    Just got some office work done and cut the grass, heading out tonight for my first sit. Heading to my buddies farm, they just cut the hay and have been seeing upwards of 40 deer in the field in the evening. Soooo I’ll prob not see a deer hahaha. Pumped to get back in the tree.

    Oh ya know! Getting older, raisin kids getting divorced( happier) living the dream! Last season was a great season- shot a stud myself my daughter Jenna got her first deer my daughter Maggie who’s 9 shot her a nice buck!! Other then that just bob fires quad rides and finally living the life I’ve always wanted to live!!!

    Got all my stand and cameras and blinds and feeders all set up! Got a couple shooters running around so just ready to be put on a team and start dropping deer here in a few weeks
