    I was going to sit until 2:30 but the sun found a hole in the canopy and I started to cook. I got down as soon as I started heating up.

    I’ll get back out around 5:00 or 5:30.

    I'm back in and waiting. Wouldnt mind an early Doe so I can Buck hunt. 70s, light wind, buggy. Thermacells are going.

    Only problem with hanging out over the field, is the sun. Got about 2 1/2 hours of burn to endure.

    well crap
    my 1pm buck came by about 1:30
    i made the mistake of not ranging stuff in advance and i guessed range wrong.

    clean miss right over his back and busted an arrow in the process.

    55 tonight! Coldest it has been all year so far. Great for a morning hunt. Hopefully I can get out to my spot without bumping anything.

    Hung some cameras today in a different area where I shot my buck last year and jumped a nice buck about 30 yards from the tree I hunt.

    Should be a good year!

    FYI I put my carabiners back on my ropes lmao.

    Arrow launched on a Doe. She ran right by me. Looked good. Half arrow penetration. Maybe hit off side shoulder or rib. Good mule kick then sprinted. Gonna give it a bit. I'm Buck hunting. 20yds. Fairly broadside
