    It’s arrows I’m having a problem with. That is the fourth arrow that I’ve broken this season.

    My stats for this year. 8 deer killed. Broke 3 arrows in deer, and lost 1 while practicing. Lost 2 broadheads. 1 broadhead killed 7 of the deer. Just keep shooting it after every deer, then sharpen. Lost it on this last deer. I can still go back to both Lost heads and look for them. They are both laying somewhere with half a arrow still attached.

    heck, I was using Slick Mags when they first came out and Old Hoot Owl (Gary) still had the business.. killed quite a few deer with Mags, and Wicked Tricks and several with the Vipers and Standards .. a few hogs also .. some say quality dropped when it was sold, I think they are still a good head.. Last years buck was killed with a Mag .. still waiting to take a deer with the Black Hornets and Exodus ..

    I’ve killed 8 with my bow also. The bedded doe I shot up north in Missouri cost me an arrow. It buried in the dirt and broke when she contorted. Then there was then one yesterday.

    The other two broke when I hit limbs. One of them absolutely disintegrated. All I ever found was a 5” piece with the fletches.

    I really shouldn’t post that. :sad:

    Well the season from hell had a fitting ending… Thought I whacked a doe, great pop sound when I shot, shot looked good and I went up and found that crap, found like 5 specs of blood over 20 yards about 50 yards from impact. Followed out all the possible trails for about 100 yards each without finding another drop of blood. Good riddance 2023/2024 season!!! Based on the arrow and blood I found she will live, must have been a muscle hit Image1706663654.802644.jpg
