She was already on the way to your truck 'cause she heard you were hunting that area and she was gonna end up there anyway! Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk

Congrats! Now pull your trailer to my spots and I bet you can fill out the rest of your Arkansas tags before the end of the week. Between a buddy and me, we saw 18 last Saturday. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Broke my arrow. The shot was broadside right at 15 yards and I was 25’ high. I aimed right through the shoulder for the heart and the arrow hit its mark and the Slick Trick blew through the on-side shoulder, through the top of the heart but lodged in the off-side leg with no exit wound. She took off and ran right by a tree and I saw/heard my arrow snap. Dang it. She only made it 50 yards from where I shot her and I heard her crash. As soon as a sat down I could see the white belly 65 yards out. I couldn’t find a blood trail. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t there, but the entry wound was high.
Awesome job Johnny! I’m glad you were able to get it done on your first sit. Also glad your health is better so you can. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I noticed it's been over a month from your last kill, bet it feels good to get back out. Nice shot also! Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
I probably could have doubled this evening. I had nocked another arrow and two does were blowing in the thicket because of the commotion, but they didn’t know where I was. I could see them and they worked to 35 yards but I didn’t have a shot. They kept working towards the opening at 30 yards and it was getting dim. I had time to think and I realized that if I killed another one I’d be tagged out and I’m here until Sunday. So I started packing up with two does in bow range. Of course they weren’t in range for long once I started moving.
