Love it! This thread lit up with kills today (late season).
Congrats guys on a couple good looking big does. Late season does ain't easy to kill!

Was a great year for myself and the few buddies I hunt with. Good amount of meat made and great memories.

Dang, I sure do encourage you guys to get some buddies together and do drives.

You’ll be happy to know that I snuck outa my stand at 5pm bc the deer were outa range, snuck down a logging road and spotted a group of doe and made a move on them. Shot the biggest at 45 yds!

I took my oldest out this afternoon. We set up on the same food plot I hunted a couple of nights ago. We didn’t see anything. About 4:00 we had rabbit hunters on horseback with dogs come running through the food plot. They were yelling around us for about an hour. Pretty sure that killed the deer movement.

Change of plans. Was going to set in the blind but there were deer in the beans. In the stand instead.

Passed on a 6 point with potential in a few years… couldn’t bring myself to shoot him…

Its 9 am and zero deer. Yesterday was last day of the gun season. Over a month of it sure makes these deer scarce. Probably getting down now to scout and find where they are hiding.

Congrats to all killers! Great late season action.
I am in last night and this morning . Last night due to sitting a "granddog " with severe separation anxiety.
This morning just old age. son and I are hitting camp together tomorrow, last day. I'll be out tonight but deer are down hill..speaking of just heard a shot down hill..

Wow roughest year since I was 22 , but I at least got one in freezer and it's very tasty, had steaks last night. Crossbow is getting recall finally done, I'm enjoying shooting my compound again with lower #'s and I'm still a deadeye with the bead on my 20 ga. Wasn't all bad or discouraging. I actually did pass a lot of deer early.

I won't get over my 8 pt driving away in the guys truck anytime soon. BTW truck hasn't been back in area since.
HAPPY NEW YEARS to you all...even Germ

Didn’t last long since I wasn’t dressed for the wind outside the blind. A doe out of range and a buck before shooting light that was limping pretty good. Maybe I’ll see him tonight.
