Very good idea. Guessing the capacity is good for you, gear, and a huge buck? Im only asking because i have a place i go. Bought a plastic canoe and it was pain to drag it with the cheap canoe/kayak cart i bought from walmart (ozark trail). So i just bought this for it. Hoping the bigger foam filled wheels will help out. I ended up picking the canoe up over my head last time and had to make 2 trips to get everything where i needed to get.
Is that pretty easy to use to move your kayak? If it was I may be able to use something like that on a couple spots. Prob save me a decent amount of money too. Lol. If I got a big deer I would have to quarter it up. I believe Wedes and WL posted up an inflatable kayak that was only 7 lbs. Still looking at that one. This is the down and dirty one I have been looking at. I'd probably wear waders to get in and out bc I don't have time to get wet. Or at least some wader half pants. https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/uncharted-supply-co-rapid-raft-v2?ds_e=GOOGLE&ds_c=Cabelas|Shopping|PMax|Camping|General|NAud|NVol|NMT&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA4Y-sBhC6ARIsAGXF1g511XfqEIaJilntiqKn-_kB7dr3BIaeyt4QsJG0sqYEJuk3PCkPgS8aApe-EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
Took a walk while snows still the on ground. I back tracked many trails. I found 5 beds on our place. 2 large singles,1 with 3 beds and 2 with 2 beds
Took my oldest out foe his second bow hunt this morning. We sat until 10 am and didn’t see anything. We scouted until about noon in a different spot, found a nice buck bed with fresh rubs made in the past week. The bed was 30 yards off an interstate, 700 yards from parking. back out again tomorrow(finally), deciding if I want to do a AM sit then move for the PM or just a PM sit... the PM sit will be close enough so I can pull the last cam I have out .. both sits will be back in among the marshes .. been working on the SUV today trying to get the blower motor working ... I hate electrical crap on vehicles ... ended up replacing the Blower, the resistor and the relay under the hood, fuses looked/tested good .. said a prayer, turned it on and it works .... nothing worse than having heat, but it not blowing thru in the winter ...
H Haven’t used yet but i will be sure to give you the full un-edited review haha! I think i will either love it or it will end up at the bottom of the lake out there.
Gm! I may be the only fool out this morning but deer are moving. Saw 2-3 early this morning on the neighbors parcel working their way to bedding... A pair of bucks in my backyard yesterday just wouldn't cross over on my property...the bedded one a small 10. That phone box bottom center is the edge of my lot. Neighbor just fired a shot with a rifle...
And 5 deer, does and fawns, exit the bedding area. Not sure if they caught a whiff of my scent or if something chased them out. But they moved back through the back corner of my lot...not sure if they're bedded on the back of my property or moved to the neighbors...
Almost 50 here right now headed for the low 60’s. Lady at work wants a deer, I’ll try dodging the rain this weekend to see if I can put the “LittleChief” on one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Good luck if you are today. My oldest is trying to pick off squirrels in the yard with pellet rifle this morning. No luck so far. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I am up in a treestand for late doe season. At 8 o'clock I had 2 bucks come in - 1 a dandy 10. I've brought both gun and bow to this stand before in late season. I'm not sure why I never considered it today. It cost me an opportunity. He got to 12 yards before he busted mee trying to take a pic of him. I bet he'll be over 150" next year. 30 minutes later a doe and bb came through. I shot her with buck shot - she dead. Its wet and drizzling here....so not doubting there will be good blood pics - sorry Mud Sitting until 930. Family Christmas party.
A number of shots from 'down the street' direction the deer were traveling. Hopeful my neighbor didn't pickpocket the whole herd that passed me earlier...no closer than 70 yds.
decided to do the PM sit for today... getting ready to shower (after another cup of coffee) and make the drive down(45 miles) .. might pull the cam and then go to another spot other than what I originally was going to, still back in the marshes.. foggy and wet as all get out right now ... 1/2 inch rain last night, just damp, no rain today, just drizzle .... one tree is easier to get into than the other due to lower branches and not sure how much water is in the marsh I have to skirt to get back in there/ both good for s/sw winds.. may have to trim a tad more after season back in there ..
