All hunt clothes are washed again ready for next week. Monday is Christmas but we do Christmas eve. Christmas morning will be our gift giving and breakfast. Then I'll be headed out for the afternoon here. Tuesday hell or high water I head to camp.
Looks like I might be out Saturday morning. Buddy got pics yesterday of 2 bucks dogging a doe for 4 hours yesterday. From 1:30 all the way thru the evening. Still out there breeding. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Finally got some time to spend outdoors. I chose to go out for ducks. Was a great morning to be out. Sent from my SM-G990U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I will be mobile with an inflatable kayak next season. Will give me access to about 1000 acres without the hassle of dragging a kayak a half mile or more.
Have you been to the place you plan on kayaking to? Was there much sign, human or deer? Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
I need to walk the ground but have seen enough through deer tracks to know they are crossing from woods over into the peninsulas and islands. Will be fun to explore and learn.
I hear you. These are straight shot crosses. I will do my boots on the ground and test runs. I can get across and walk the river banks pretty quietly. Then enter.
I checked cam, season closes and I get 270 pics in one night. So next year should be interesting if these guys disperse this winter and then come back. So mostly spikes or 4's but huge spikes 3 with one side broken off 2 rht 1 left. 2 button bucks. 2, 4pt and 3 small spikes. Just 3 doe showed . I haven't seen a mature or even semi mature buck in weeks. A pretty large junior class going into winter.
Well I messed up. Ended up not going out tonight because it would have been 3:30-45 by the time I got to the tree, gets dark at 5:15 and didn’t want to risk bumping anything off the plot… 15 minutes before last light I get these
Man that's been my song all year. I hunt the south end, the bucks are on the north end. I don't go on a day I had planned on going, and bucks are cruising by my stand. And how do I know all this? TRAILCAMS! It's almost enough to make a preacher cuss!! Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
I'm looking at two different kinds now. Hand pump for one will get filled up in 2 to 3 min. The other you literally capture some air then maybe 5 breaths and it's ready. Mil-spec material and design...3lbs.
He wasn’t there last night, but the night before he was. Dad will be down tomorrow evening, unfortunately holiday plans have me sidelined till Tuesday
Well at least your dad might get a chance. Get in there when ever you can. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
