    I was too until I picked one up.
    Fun break between bow and gun is turning into a need.
    Out with mine for an hour hunt.
    No day light and only 5 spike that hang together.

    Been crazy since I got set up. I’ve seen 7 bucks and 2 does. The does were coming but a buck chased them off.

    I hunted mid-day once and it was a bust. They have really been moving at moonrise and moonset though.

    This is the secondary rut. The week after Thanksgiving was the primary.

    Oh, and yes, that is pretty normal
    Down here. The bucks I saw were all cruising looking for does.

    I had no service where my boys and I hunted tonight, but this hunt made my whole season. It’s one that will be in the memory bank for a very loooong time!

    Our first successful hunt together and they did fantastic all of the way up until the shot, I’m just glad it was only a 50 minute sit lol.
