Warm weather projected through Christmas… Maybe I can actually get an arrow in something.

20231208_131237.jpg 5 hrs sitting here till dark... zilch ... birds, squirrels and thousands of goony birds (sandhills) .. nice sit albeit a tad breezy (s/sw 15-33mph today and 55deg)... did have a few decent bucks/does on the cam I pulled for the season, just nothing came by today ..

You would have seen way more if you used a crossbow….

Last day of PA rifle season. Heading in again with my crossbow. I saw plenty of deer yesterday but the only buck I saw was a 3-point. Hopefully today that changes. Good luck out there today.

All set up at the gun club this morning with the rifle for the last day of PA rifle. Starting to think I should have stayed in bed, super foggy and got really sweaty climbing in. If it wasn’t for this new 308 I want to break in I think I would have gone back to bed

Went in blind to a place I'm hoping has seen very little hunting pressure. Have no idea what the woods will look like when the sun rises. Haha

Been set up for about an hour and half. Red squirrels and a rabbit so far. Bad combination I'm getting hungry and bored already of not seeing squat. I'll be here for at least 2 more hours. Perfect day and wind just nothing moving.

Been in the tree for a while. Shioting time was 726, and it is still getting light. Out with shotgun and buck shot. So freaking warm 50+. Good luck today. Still plenty of deer to kill.

I’ve seen a spike, doe and 4 fawns so far. At least the fog lifted.

The rain has turned into a flood not shooting anything with the bow the blood would be washed away quickly as soon as I get a good break I think I may head out already have a cold don’t think getting soaked is such a good idea

This place erupted with birds, ducks, and turkey over the last 30min. Been fun to see.
