Good luck killers, I’m washing hunting clothes and getting my pack in order. I’m envious of all you hunting!
I'm up! In a thick spot with bedding about 50 yards to my right. Very poor service, so will try and update when I can. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk

Dude if this buck does the same thing his ass is gonna catch one at 30. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What? Are you OCD or something? Edit: Actually, if you look at them left to right the arrows are rotating right just like they do in flight. Do you know how hard it was to get them lined up like that?
Nothing new to report here. No deer yet. Lots of squirrels and even more mosquitos. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
The shot was questionable … he took a step as I released the arrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It was Pincher. Couldn’t tell 100% looked like a hind quarter the arrow is in him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well day 2 started with a bang, or rather a bugle. I chased the elusive bull for a mile through all kinds of dark timber and busted up downfall. Headed up the mountain about 1000 vert, had cow calls...too close to a trail and big stream, seemed too odd, so I pushed on. About a half mile later, I blew a locator bugle followed by a couple cow chirps...took about 10 steps and blew out a raghorn bull at about 40 yds. I kept pushing and got into some real dark timber, a few more cow calls and about 6 elk came running down the hill in my back track...I think they caught a whiff of lingering scent and bogeyed down the mountain. Legs and feet were tired and some moisture predicted for the next 3 days got m me thinking I might want to get the ol Honda down of the 4wd rd. So I checked a few other trail heads and possible access points. 25 elk spotted in a day and a half, 1 grouse (It was below me on a wicked steep gave and I didn't want to chase an arrow, so it lived another day), 3 mule deer. A good bit of bugling elk last evening, but they quieted down at dark (only thing I could reason why they didn't bugle all night, possible predators in the area)...
