Seen a buck standing in the field eyeing a doe. They were the only 2 out there and usually it’s a doe hot spot for feeding. Guessing a little midnight love tonight!

Thats good to know jim. I bought the solitude and some other layering pieces. I cant wait to wear the COS stuff. I just bought the Essential jacket and pants, Verdigre hoodie and zone 7 vest. This stuff seems Quality! Looks and feels super warm. Can only imagine what rhe Coldfjall suit is like. Might give a guy second degree burns or something.

    Im on it….

I’ve had a couple days off hunting. My gear is washed, my electronics and batteries are charged and the buck I brought home has been processed and is in the freezer.

I’m going to sleep in tomorrow morning but tomorrow afternoon it’s time to get back in a tree.

I don’t have a history of good movement here at home after gun season, but I haven’t really even hunted my place across the road yet this year. I sneaked over there when I got home and the scrapes had been freshly worked. Probably at night, but I’ll never know sitting in the house.

Kyner. I'm in nw mn. Long way from Nevis. I've have been around there for bear many times.
LC, you may be onto something there.lol. but really, almost zero anter chewing here.
Jake, that pic gives me the willys!

Thanks fellas. Just something about archery deer drives that turn me on. Really would like to see more here try it. It can be SO effective.
If anyone want to discuss it, I'll gladly chime in and give input. Seen 100s of deer get killed making drives.
    Just another option.

    What to say?
    Same story different day
    1. All night KILL ME NOW muscle shredding cramps for seriously no apartent reason. No morning hunt.
    2. I need to do errands and it's pouring out anyways. I plan afternoon hunt
    3. Cam shows deer clearly in before close yesterday when furnace guys were here and I couldn't hunt.
    4. It turned into old home week in the save alot parking lot. Not 1 but 2 cousins, you who, me walking to car.
    5. Craziest thing ever I ask an elder man to hand me a pack of T-bone on sale. Sure , next thing I know he says don't I know you? Maybe but I don't know you! OMG he grew up near us, went school with my older sister. Mind you she is 8 yrs my senior and my mother passed when I was 12 and we moved. How the hell could you possibly remember ME! I'm nearly 66 now! He replies you look the same, just like your Mom. Well that was a long conversation about...everything.
I get home with 40 mins to spare and run out....nearly shot off a rabbits head at close but he saw me stand for a better angle on his head.
    Ohhhhh Well
    .

Having coffee and headed out to a blind, somewhere. Rain and fog here as well in 40's so won't need as many layers today.
    Good luck all
