I woke up from a nap:dan: and knocked an arrow.

Hour before dark, a snow squall came in. Un nocked the arrow. Just didn't feel like dealing with a dead deer.

Yeah @Sota is a terrible guy for using a crossbow…

Not going to get involved with any of it outside of there are things that some don’t know about others. What someone decides to use should not be anyone’s problem as long as it’s legal.

Shot this buck 3 years ago with my dad’s 30-30 at 40yds right in the shoulder. Heard him crash 10yds as a snow squall was starting. Watched him get up and run. That track job was not fun. He ended up going 200yds only way I found him was from the slight tracks in the snow. Never again.

Taking the day off from work to go out again for our 3rd day of PA rifle season. I continue to take out my crossbow hoping to see a good buck. The biggest I've seen the past couple of days was a 3-point. Maybe today will be the day. Good luck out there this morning.

3 does and 5 fawns so far. This last doe was by herself. I keep looking but nothing is following her yet.

I used to hunt Kearn memorial public land south of base and there were decent deer there. That was 20 years ago, but it probably hasn't changed much. They usually put food plots in several places. I can probably point you to a good stand spot still. Lol.

West of Warsaw is Settles Ford public. I may have hunted there a time or two. Screenshot_20231127_080721_onX Hunt.jpg
