Okay, stop with the crossbow bashing. We all know you don’t like them and you’re entitled to your opinion, but stop bashing people who use them on this forum.

Crossbows are accepted here. If you can’t accept that and handle it with a little dignity I’m sure there are other forums who would accept you with open arms. Bash a crossbow hunter again and you’ll be looking for one.

For other guys: there is no need for vulgar name calling and I’m telling you it won’t be tolerated so stop.

Lets just get back to hunting.

I hunted yesterday afternoon and only saw one deer. It was a spike. I guess you’d call it a spike.

He would have been a legal buck here. The requirement for a legal buck here is 12” inside spread or 15” main beam.

This buck had a set of main beams that were probably 18” long and had about a 16” inside spread but didn’t have a single tine.

I’d never seen anything like it.

I left all of my gear in the tree last night and it’s raining now so my gear is getting wet.

I saw a forkie like that in the shawnee gun season. Only about a 10” spread but probably 15” long spikes with about 2” forks at the very top. Deer looked to be 2-1/2 body wise. Very strange.

Good luck all. Going to spend some time with the family today. 4 days of work ahead then 4 off again. I bet today will be good where im from. Wet and nasty but should taper off later and just be cold. @LittleChief you just reminded me i was too whooped to unpack my truck lastnight so my gear is getting soaked too

Got a skiff of snow last night. Calling for real high winds.
I'll window watch for a doe this morning. Just don't feel like getting dressed and sitting in a tree.
Never had such good quality bucks post gun season. Barring a horrible winter, I'm looking forwards to seeing some of these bucks next year. 6500903c-9488-4bab-be89-8e775fcc4cb3.jpg

In the blind again. Windy as all get out!! Trees are covered in snow so I went to the blind instead of getting wet climbing a tree.
    Good Luck, everyone!

You did great. Lol. But I forgot my wife has something going on at work that I'm headed to this afternoon. So maybe I'll get out Thursday. I'm really excited to do some scouting on these water properties. I need to get a crack at a big Missouri buck.

I was so unmanly and weak getting Parkinson's, I should be ashamed.
