Apparently we have a low pressure system in place and a neighbor, upwind decided a morning fire was in the cards...extra cover scent.
Duck hunters, public land what are you going to do. About 200 yards away. Hopefully, they get a limit quickly and leave. About 30 shots so far.
Note Not a single skunk seen this year very few smelled all summer...hhhmmm Things that come to mind on stand
Wasn't feeling my original spot moved into some thicker stuff kicked up 2 doe getting here I think I'm going to try to get a stand in here in the spring
7 degrees this morning. Moved to a different stand on some bottoms as I have been getting better pics. First sit in this blind this year. After struggling with the heater, im good now. Sent from my SM-S918U using Tapatalk
Note to self: when hunting the day after Thanksgiving, do not walk the stand until you have made your SECOND deposit in the bathroom… as soon as I got to my stand …the battle was on… I won a battle here and there, but lost the war… Wife sees me high stepping it up the lane and thru the door… she knew right away So, I pair of underwear down so far this morning… back on stand and looking for a doe Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Failed. Sprayed it down and seeded into the grass, nothing really took off despite finally getting rain. Likely should have mowed it down first, but my mower was broken. I reeeeeaaaallllllyyyy need a tractor and a disk. Sent from my SM-S918U using Tapatalk
I had one in the tree next to me on my first trip to NY. Those things have no fear of falling to their death. Was entertaining to watch when it was awake and eating/moving. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Buddy just text me. His wife got her first buck this morning, a little 8 point. I haven’t seen anything yet. Going to give until 9am and get down. I may move about 200 yards east and scout through this creek bottom in a section I haven’t seen yet.
