Extremely overcast. A pretty good buck just cut through here at 70 yds. Walking in a dried up slough out in the open.

    Well, as on que.
Our " lock down" time is over.
Scrape is getting bombarded with bucks today. Does are getting back into their feeding patterns also.
Nows a great time to catch a cruising buck.

Want to guess? If it was not one heard nor seen you'd be correct. No shots near me so that's good

Good news my #1 target on my private spot is alive and well and posing for my camera at 2:38 pm. Just an old gnarly looking buck. Has little more junk this year than last. Think hes 6-1/2 from pics us and neighbor has last few years . First daylight pic i have of him this year. He survived 1st gun season anyway. May keep pressure off and let him get comfortable there again then move in for the kill. Hell who am i kidding, this buck is smarter than me. IMG_5612.jpeg

Good Luck AM Shift. I can't get out until Saturday when the PA rifle season comes in. I'll be out with the crossbow.

Good luck out there. Steady, cold rain here all day. I'll be back out some this week.

The boss said 'work from home tomorrow'...I'm hoping that really means, 'sit in your tree stand tomorrow evening'...

During Covid in Washington that meant “build a back deck and overhang” ….or at least that’s what I read between the lines. Surely that’s what my commander meant

I'm the one man orange army today. Got in pretty quiet. It is a beautiful morning. Tough season so far from archery to firearms. IMG_20231121_064650.jpg

Keep going all! Still good 2 months of season left for most. Time to start looking for those fawns that will breed and late season food sources.

Good luck to you guys that are still grinding. I've had some amazing hunts late season over the years!
