I love when these valleys fill in like this. Good luck to all who venture out today, it's a processing day here today.

That’s awesome! It’s great you were able to do that for them.

@Lester - the best of times!

Saw a decent buck chasing this morning in picked corn, but didn't get a real good look. Still some deer in corn field which is 60 yards away. Nice crisp morning and the sun is rising! Enjoy your day.

Good work, killers! and good luck today, everyone.

    Another spike.

Jeesh, it's a small deer contest today.

The big boys and girls were out chasing...don't know where they went.

    Headed to church.
Bringing venison chili for the potluck.

    Taking the afternoon off.

    Kill something!

Thanks guys. That was #4 for me. The bucks have not been cooperating this year so I decided to fill the freezer. I also will be moving before next deer season so figured why not notch some tags!

well, at least I got to touch a deer yesterday ...lol ... about noon, I went to my buddys to see how him and another buddy did on his place... He shot a very nice 10 pt that was chasing Does.. about 180lbs FD.... he used his 300 win. I told him that deer didnt stand a chance ... his son was also out, he used a 375 H&H .... walloped a big Doe on another parcel with it .... any caliber .243 and larger is now legal on private, just have a case length Max.
