    In the blind about 6 with shooting time a little after 7. 27 degrees, clear skies, and calm winds. The gun opener wad Wednesday (eerily quiet), but hoping today brings more shooting. Does are back on the menu.

    Good morning! 50 degrees and a light breeze this morning here...supposed to warm up to 70 so not sure how long I'll sit this morning and /or if I'll be out pm....though this is prime time some I'm torn.

    Is like to see more than the 18,000 squirrels, doe, spike and dorky forky...

    Happy Thanksgiving week if you're taking time away with relatives and merriment.

    Took some effort to roll out of bed, but I’m here. Trying a field edge today. The wind has been a dr suess thyme, north wind, south wind, east wind, down wind, upwind, cross wind. You get the picture

    I’m up waiting on daylight. Very ninja like this morning until the last step on my climbing stick… loud a$$ creak that should have alerted every deer in the county. Good luck everyone

    Got in way early,watched all lights headed to my lines. Hoping they'd push something. Dead quiet till neighbor right behind his house. I'm in mid swamp stand. Still nothing.

    I’m up and sipping coffee, headed out soon. It’s 4:45 here, shooting light around 6:30. Headed out in a few. No service where I’ll be sitting this morning. Hoping the bucks have started cruising and I get to drop a string this morning. Good luck to all.

    I’ve been in a tree for an hour and a half now. I haven’t heard or seen anything in the woods.
    I’ve heard a lot of dogs barking at local houses but nothing else.

    Just had some does and fawns come in. My son couldn’t get a shot because he was breathing to heavy and fogged up the scope. Said he didn’t want to shoot through foggy scope to make sure his shot was good. Give him credit for that.

    for those out this AM... GOOD LUCK !! ... just woke up, looked out, clear, 29 degrees and a very very heavy Frost (everything is white) and dead calm ... what a morning for the opening Gun here ... kinda miss gun season ............. nope, not really ....... GOOD LUCK again .... some one kill a big 'un ....

    Congrat to your son @oldnotdead

    Taking the weekend off hunting to spend time with the family after the rollercoaster last weekend was. Currently sitting the urgent care waiting room to get these stitches removed.

    I have buddy out this morning trying to kill one of bucks on buck island. Hoping for a phone call and maybe a deer drag later if my wife doesn’t mind.
