    Was planning on getting out today but rain has others plans. I’ll be out tom am after this rain comes through and then on Sunday in Pa, section 2B is open for Sunday hunting. I really wish Pa would inherit Sunday hunting all year round!

    I’m out. Nothing but the turkey’s. The deer are still in hiding because of the gun season, 2 more days… either that or someone is baiting or feeding them or both.

    I got home from SC about 45 minutes ago. I got changed and got in the stand. It’s a little warm with south winds that’s blowing that smoke up here from the wildfires in VA.

    Made a drive in a riverbottom for a friend. He arrowed a very nice buck.
    It made it across the Red River into nodak.
    This sucks!

    Sitting in my folding chair near the intersection of 2 logging roads one road comes down the hill I'm facing up it then another to my left the meet in front of me. 2 small rubs at the intersection and what looks like a fresh ground scrape to my right. If I have the opportunity I'll take whatever's comes my way. Have to be over to the neighbors for beer camp at 6 that's the tradition the night before the firearms opener.

    I remember hunting 5C many years ago. Residents all wanted the deer dead but none of them wanted to give you permission for fear of a law suit.
