    Didn’t see anything from the stand. I had to get down 30 minutes early. As much as I want to shoot a nice buck I want to maintain control of my bowels more.
    Gas stations are for gas, not for food. When will I learn…

    I told work to eff off a few too many times over the last 2 weeks and have 1 maybe 2 days off to use next month and a half. Never thought today would have been good. So warm.

    Likely can’t get out until the weekend.

    Almost got it done. Had doe in sights at 20 waiting for her to turn broadside and a the stupid neighborhood spike came from behind me and she turned and walked away. I could see she was watching something and I could hear footsteps but didn’t want to turn my head to look. Good to the the does are back to moving around here. Saw 9 total so was an awesome sit. One more sit for me and my archery season is over.

    Well my last sit for early bow 2023. 1 kill but nothing in freezer. I've had better seasons for sure. At least it truly ended beautifully

    Found a buck to hunt tomorrow am, got permission on the property next to this field. It was this guy and 10 or so doe. He was grunting and bumping em around.

    Thanks all, what a day I had. The landowner had cut a crapload of trees down, making dragging that deer out of there impossible, even with a cart.
    I had no choice but to get my knives and get to work on him in the woods. Deboned him pretty good, leaving a pile of bones. Took most of the afternoon.
    That was a job I hope I don’t have to do again.
    I still have tomorrow, 1 buck tag and 2 doe tags in my pocket.
    I’m gonna try it again :moose:
