Bnb this is awesome! What a cool looking buck too. That rack is more gray than chocolate. Is that common in those parts?

Pulled chip by the stand I was hunting this morning. I thought it was an 8 that was in the thicket. Turns out he is a ten.

Had to bail, hot and bored. Don’t expect much in the next couple hours.
Gonna take a break, recharge and agonize over where to go for a while

Up, struggled to find a decent spot. A couple scrapes are open nearby. On the edge of bedding and travel corridor.

    Good luck.[IMG]

Ok I'm in middle swamp stand. Behind neighbor with barking dog. Property surrounds his. He must be hunting...no barking. I did something I never do drove Gator to crest of hill couple hundred yrds away and parked. It's a dang steep hill.
BNB even you'll approve this area for deer beech and they were loaded, oak no acorns this year and a a ton of nasty bedding cover.

I was in my late 40's when I carried all the lumber and ladders I needed to build this down here. Then by my self nailed and bolted then double chained it i to the tree.long enough to sleep in and that's why the chicken wire. I would come in a few hours before open and sleep. It's a pretty good drop to be rolling out of..lol
With the winds on this side hill surprised it's still up. Even with all the redundant back up safety .
