Bolt was buried to the nock so the stubble and dirt rubbed most the blood off. I'll give it a little bit and look for blood once my dad gets here for more eyes.
I had 2 opportunities to harvest a PA buck today. 110" 8 point this morning and a 115" 8 point this afternoon. I call today a success. All we ask for is an opportunity to harvest a buck. A big buck is all in the eyes of the beholder and what state they are in. If it gets you excited then it is a success.
We're out. Decent blood for about 40 yards and then hit came to a small opening and it got dark so we backed out. Will resume early a.m. He shoots those small Magnus Stingers and unless a heart shot, they seldom leave a real great bloodtrail. He's shot some nice bucks and he's purty fevered up over this one. Gotta give him credit. He's 81 now and still gets after it. From the glimpse I got from the buck walking before he shot it, I (think) it's this buck.? He shot this one about 6 years ago not far from where he sat this eve. Hes my bestest friend in the world and hes allowed to hunt here anytime he wants to. DMax, darn right! Good luck Logman.
Nice congrats guys! Good luck on track tom BNB. I was covered in deer all day, no shots. Saw things in the woods I never have seen. Was a truly fun and enjoyable sit, the day went so fast. Good luck out there everyone! It’s not always about killing, but I sure like to hahaha!
