    Dang crew...there's been a lot of killing!
    I hunted this morning and I am out right now.

    This morning I pulled into the driveway and there is a decent 10, not wide, but tall and heavy bodied 15 yards from the house tending a doe. I'm 30 yards away from him, in the dark, and change my clothes. I sneak around and get into stand 120 yards away. A little after daylight they come my direction. I watch them for 45 minutes, until they work off to the north. 3 smaller bucks, upwind of them, head to where I believe they bedded.

    Went to church.

    Picked up no trespassing signs.

    Delivered boat to marina for some quick work.

    Came to a new property - 20 acres.

    I called the number on a for sale sign, trying to get permission to hunt a 10 I used to hunt before the kind lady died. This is another parcel she owned. 2 guys across the street have hunted in for years and never called to get permission. The new owner is pissed about them trespassing. 3 years ago one cussed me out. The same guy cussed me out as I was hanging the signs. I don't really have time to hunt this piece, but it sticks inI my craw how they act like it's their land and how they treat me. I told the guy to call the landowner or the CO if he has any questions. On my 10 minute walk I saw 2 nice bucks and numerous does. Sitting on a trunk. Wind is in my face! I kept my cool, but wanted to lambaste him. I will call DNR and report his behavior today to get it in record. There's a rub on a 7 inch maple 15 yards away. Thick in here. Fun fun fun.

    Congratulations to all the killers!

    @INbowhunter - I can't believe that's your first bow buck!...you've passed on dandys. I didn't have that patience.

    @arch- great job on that buck. Good luck with the kids.

    @Holt impressive

    @Wedes splendid with the gun!

    @cantexian - that's how I got my first gun. Russ stabbed himself and cut a tendon. Could use the 870 wingmaster pump any more. I love that gun.

    @cls74 - please don't leave us..we need you!

    Congratulations to those I can't recall.

    I'm set. Got my good luck charm with me!

    This is special, something I've been waiting on for years, he just wasn't quite ready. Never wanted to kill a deer worse! [IMG]

    I was planning on staying in camp but my brother wanted to go and collect one of his Summit Goliaths. I suggested that I just go sit in it this afternoon and bring it in. He liked that idea so here I am back in a tree.

    I had forgotten how huge these climbers are. He is 6’ 7” and when I got up and sat down the side bars were pressing into my armpits so I had to adjust the Summit seat (which I’m mot used to) all the way up.

    I feel like I’m sitting in an oversized chair.

    I have one firearms amtlerless tag and I have Thumper with me.

    I just had this guy go by at 35 yards. Beautiful 4 on right side but other side went straight up with 2 points. CD03917E-8557-4E91-9F54-B6B38A048656.jpeg

    Good job fellas on today's deer. Couple dang big does!

    Seen that big buck from last night chasing a doe from 12 30 to 1 30 today right out back.
    Only one great stand for this wind and I've never let anyone sit in it ( it's a special spot for me) but I called up my old buddy to get here and get his ass in it.
    He was bout doing backflips on his walk to it.
    I truly hope he get it.

    Just had that 110” 8 point that I saw this morning come by. He’s lucky he’s young and I want him to breed.

    I did some all day sits in my saddle and it worked out pretty well for me. I did climb down around lunch just to stretch the legs for about 20 mins or so then climbed back up. I think it helped me out.

    Well I will be solely focused on hunting a few days of work I took off this week. I have Mon/Tues along with Thurs/Fri/Sat. I do not plan on any all day sits during this time but I plan to put in several hours each morning and evening unless cameras show me otherwise. Had 1 of my target bucks show up at 744 yesterday evening. Nothing today but that does not mean he isn't around. He ran off with a doe for about a week and just showed back up looking for another one I assume. This may be my window to get it done. Good luck everyone on the push till the end of season. I will keep you all updated as I hunt throughout the week.

    Nothing for me. I found a sweet spot to sit, but boogered that spot up walking around. I'll kill deer there.
