    Shot a fork horn a few minutes ago. Shot was a touch back. He went about 30 yds and bedded down. He’s struggling to get up so hope he expires soon. Contemplating getting down and trying another shot. Would hate to bump him though.

    Spike and a button buck since I shot the fork horn. Don’t hear anymore thrashing over there. Might get down just before end of legal and sneak over there. He’s only 60 yards or so away but behind a bunch of brush

    In an interesting turn of events the wife told me to go hunting tomorrow morning… it may be a trap but sounded sincere… going to have to stick to hunting local, going to what dad and I call the killing tree. I have had a lot of good sits over there years in that stand and dad has tagged 3 nice bucks from it this time of year in the mornings. Not a huge probability of killing one but it will be nice to sit in that tree and be in the woods on 11/12. This will be the first sit im not in a saddle in over 2 years, kind of looking forward to climbing into a preset hang in stand lol had to go digging for a bowhanger to use. Best of luck to those out this evening!! Can’t wait for that 4am wake up
