LOL, yea wrong club. Sportsmen Club I belong to. I like your thinking.
However I'm To old for those places now. All I could do is think she is the same age as my daughter. No thanks.

Dang it this wind is killing me down here in these bottoms. swirling bad. Being too picky looking for tree. I bumped coulle more does. Im getting up in next one that makes half ass sense. At least id like to be able to get eyes on him again. I was thinking of making some noise at the base of my tree. Raking and grunting but i know if i do that i have to climb this tree quick. Im in saddle so ill have to hang my sticks. I may be able to do it in 5-6 min if i find easy tree. Typing this while i cool off lol im sweating now!

Vac#2 started yesterday........ this AM .8 mile walk in to what I thought would be a great location, secluded in among the lakes/marshes, got in early, had a good quiet set up.... 3rd sit at this spot this AM, and STRIKE 3, nothing seen ... Ive sat there both AM and PM and Zilch.... scrapes are fully leaf covered now, nothing coming thru, thought it would be a great travel corridor .... highly disappointing ... heck, there wasnt even much shooting by the duck guys this AM either ... had to get down as the predicted wind switch hit about 10ish, went from N/nw to S/SE in an instant, which is great for tomorrow AM for a first time sit in this new location I'm going to....if a decent Doe comes by and dosnt seem to be followed by a buck, I'm trying for her... I'm done fooling around, esp. with all this warmer weather coming ....... no PM hunt today .. I'm worn out and need some rest and sustenance ....

Alright, I’m finally able to do some hunting. Just made the 5 hour drive and I have 5.5 days to hit it hard.
I haven’t been here since last November, so I have no idea what I’m getting into. But anything could happen at this property, there’s always some good ones passing through.
About to head out for an afternoon shot, already a nervous wreck
    Let’s rock and roll!

Good luck to everyone out after them.

I’m going to be camp ratting for the next two days. I might actually catch up on some sleep I’ve been missing.

20231111_152000.jpg I'm back in the game. I'm not shooting anything at 50, but I'm confident at 20. Took a dremel to the part and she's dialed in for now. Suncrest sent me the correct parts today!...thank you sir!!! I'll get it on and dialed back into 60 soon.

Just climbed into a tree. Got one foot on the stand and here comes a doe and fawn. Get next to tree and probably smell me. Turn and head out.

    Gorgeous evening to keeeeel!

I’m still here, although I did move. I could smell diesel exhaust from a farmer about 3/4 mile away and it just got to be too much . Good luck everyone

In stand at my parent's home place...checked cam on my way in and had only three pictures in roughly 2-3 weeks. Yeah, I think I'm taking this stand down tonight and moving it to a different property. Not sure what's going on here.
