Been all set since 1. Same day I shot my buck last year. Feels lucky. Good luck everyone. Sent from my SM-S918U using Tapatalk
I’m out, couldn’t take it anymore and saw nothing, good luck PM shift. I will be back after it in the morning.
I like the looks of that spot Clint. Should be scrapes all over those fence rows. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
@MnHunterr - 280....WOW. He's an old buck that has spread his genes @Wedes - great buck and an outstanding shot - congratulations Our school district has an outstanding Veteran's Day Assembly open to the community. It's my favorite assembly of the year. The band performs, the elementary kids sing, community veterans speak, and tears are shed. Today, and every day, we are thankful to those who have, are, and will serve. I'm headed out to a stand. Good luck.
I am up, about 30 minutes later than I wanted but I am here. Sitting in a white oak grove on the edge of a creek bottom. Strong NE wind, I am giving up everything to my WSW, but the deer tend to come fromt the SE. About 3.5 hours, don’t expect anything until lst hour of daylight unless it is a cruiser.
3 hours 17 minutes. I've looked behind every tree within view, not one booner seen. People lie about IL hunting
From left to right and around my back. I expect majorly of movement from the area of the first two pictures. Cut a nice set of tracks headed this way about 200 yards before this spot. 30 yards to the edge of the thick stuff. Something may come in from the NE as well, but less likely.
Weirdest part is, I haven't seen a single scrape. Walked im south from the house and east along treeline. Perfect licking branches but no scrapes, we both mentioned it
Settled in just heard a grunt hunt camps empty so buck. Pic of stone is head stone of woman that put me in will God bless her. They buried her 40 yrds from my stand. I made a deal to maintain her.
