    Just had a good buck chasing a doe perfect in front of me. Couldn’t get him stopped. Had 2 bucks cruzing at 11:30.

    Got back from milk run. Had luck in finding a sale on something I needed 70 % off , bought all they had. Went to garden to drop off stretch A. J.'s legs and take care of chickens. Right behind the hunt this morning, on shelf below ridge is mad grunting going on. I don’t like the winds. So going out back. Last night's big buck was headed up hill at 5. He could close gap to stand by close. This is a many many year corner cut to next gully over. Taken several including one of my biggest gun bucks from it. Just finishing lunch and headed out to sit there first was day doe walked a 20ft semicircle around me as I stood trying to hide behind a sapling. A week or two ago. Haven't been in there in the afternoon yet. Great gu n stand as well.
    Why better when field is in clover but they still head up the hill in the evenings . Down in morning up at night. Just one year that wasn't the case, zero knowledge why that particular year but it was maddening.

    So I saw this on another page...estimated weight based on chest girth behind the front legs...

    I guess this is a tool used by PA dept wildlife...or whatever they're called.
