probably not a terrible thing - I wonder how many deer have gone undetected by us due to following threads like this one
Well, here’s my deer season prep, I might actually get my bow out of the closet this well too. Not much, but if it works, I’ll be home in time for Christmas
Last minute preps. Season opens Saturday. Hope I don't get rained out. Checked some cameras. Lots of activity and deer. Several hundred pictures. Always fun to go through. Lots of bears too. They all mess with my cameras. Sent from my SM-G990U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Oh yeah! I will be working in the morning, but will be out for opening day evening! Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
I will be in a tree tomorrow in MD. Hopefully by this time gutting a doe, but I’ll just be happy to be out, going to be a high of 90 but we have storms moving in tomorrow evening so hopefully they are on their feet before the storms!!!
We are supposed to get storms late Saturday and that's when I was planning to hunt. I guess I'm doing a morning hunt instead and I'm not a fan of early season morning hunts. It is supposed to be 63 degrees which I'll take! Good luck tomorrow!
Oh man, I remember hunting in NC in college and those morning hunts for the opener were always rough, 80 degrees for the low down there sometimes!!! I used to walk in with shorts and a T-shirt on then completely change at the base of my tree and put the sweaty clothes in a ziplock bag. I’m jealous of that 63!!!
I personally have never seen it that cool on an opener here and definitelynot MO. Hunted many a day in the 90s. Getting deer out and cool cannot happen fast enough. And the flies! Instantly swarm.
Here in eastern Nebraska the temps are to be near 80° with storms coming at 2200 hours. Camera activity this morning has been steady… I’ll be in the stand this evening Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
