    Good luck everyone. Ive got the big 8 on the agenda today. Not the deer i was most excited about but the only one whos presenting the opportunity. I have a very detailed and elaborate plan with a lot of strategic planning. It goes like this. Move in, Kill. Hope it works :bow:

    I am drinking my coffee, and trying to figure out this weather. Raining now, but quitting at 7? I think i am going in, and hoping for the best. I may be in Kentucky for gun opener in morning, or go back to Missouri, for gun opener but hunt an archery only area. Letting my son decide after he gets done with work. Good luck all!

    Can see to shoot. Lots of squirrels moving. Ranging trees. Great observation stand, I can see forever. I have great back cover, bedding behind me and I'm tucked in the branches of a beech nut tree. 45 this AM, light wind. Good luck everyone.

    That was an interesting walk in, I am walking right behind a few houses before I turn west into the woods, and there stands 3 does staring at me about 10 yards away. Classic deer in headlights! Lol they just stared at me trying to figure out what I was or was doing there? Pretty funny! It is legal to shoot but I can’t see 10 yards in front of me yet! Good luck all!

    Well getting closer buck at 50 on scrape. Hoping he'd turn to closer one at 40 but went to sanctuary. On garden stand I attempted to make it to blind but too much movement around me. He walked 2 yrds from blind. They have hammered the plot but not section I'm over.

    Set up in one of my old faithful spots. Had some deer come threw before light. Seeing deer and not hunters would be a plus for me anyway I’m ready to see some rut action.

    I think my old buddy is coming to hunt this morning.
    He should be here soon.
    30* and light nw wind.
    I've not heard 1 gunshot since Monday eve. Hard to believe.
    Woke up at midnight, forgot to shut the air down on my woodstove. Thermometer read 98*.
    Had to open windows and door for bit.
