MD! Hoping to be down there this weekend, not sure if I will be there or the public ground, he’s the only really nice one I have on camera there and he’s pretty sporadic, on the public land I have a handful of nice bucks that are more regular

Got to remember that they might be right and your terrain features are altering the wind direction. Kind like a large wind swirl. I have several hunting spots like this. It's like a eddie in a stream going around a rock, just on a larger scale. Learn it and recognize it for future hunts.

Speaking gof. Our local gun shop closed it's doors . Only place that carried my Breneke 3 " 20 ga. Then hubby stopped a few places.
ZERO 20 GA slugs anywhere and they say they Can't get them. Only carrying 12's. They say they don't know why. I have a supply but,...
Really ? Heres a conspiracy, yes rifles are the go to now, but some still have shot gun only. What's a young kid going to use, a 20 ga.
Either that or not worth the cost to produce.
Are you guys in other states having an issue with this? We are now looking to take an ammo road trip. We will also be putting in orders to any one we know traveling. F NY and ammo back ground.

Been an incredible morning. Covered in bucks. Seen maybe 6. Maybe one 110 inch 8 at 10 yds. No big boys yet.

Light rain shower just passed through, have a break until about noon. I am expecting it will be between 9-11a if anything happens. Morning major movement 8:11-11:11.

Squirrels have been busy so far. No deer activity.

Oh how I know this having hunted only hill country all my life. I have places I know not to hunt because any wind above 2 mph will get me. I also mention often how our trees will look like tooth picks in a blender in high winds. Yesterday how ever wasn't the case. I'd also not build a blind in one such area.

Ammoseek on the internet. I bet you can find what you are looking for. It's a world wide clearing house of ammo companies and dealers.

Here's the same buck I posted earlier on a different cam that is less than 100yds from the other cam. It also captured a large buck about 10 days ago in the daylight. Not sure if it's the same deer or not, but a nice one for sure! Screenshot_20231109-090900_Strike Force Wireless.jpg Screenshot_20231109-090826_Strike Force Wireless.jpg

Very surprised I haven't seen anything yet. Got 15-20 mph winds though. Glad I'm in a ground blind to cut the wind a little.

Good luck on the track dmem.
