All Minnesota hunting pages on Facebook will tell you the wolves are the problem. I don’t buy it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Did all the deer move out of state the harvest numbers have been dropping for 3 years in a row, is that just bad luck?
Jake. I live with them. It's real and getting worse. Now they are getting used to go after Denned up bears. Sota, MN does a horrible job managing deer population. They spend too much $ on fricken woodcock then deer. They are always 3+ years behind recent trends.
This is our ticket VS. im headed to southern illinois back to big buckville. Got my eyes set on this guy now. Buddy came clean with this pic said he “thought he told me about it” haha. No……no you didnt! Hope hes still around. Cam hasnt been changed for daylight yet so this is hour fast. At least hes moving early.
I am just glad all the deer between my house and 94 in Albany is deer free I can leave in the morning in the dark and not worry about hitting a deer, we have road hunters and wolves to clean it out. Sorry not sorry I took over 20 years over overtime from the DNR budget.
Well thank you because I honestly thought I had been pretty stupid all these years. When as in today I go out in a NE reported wind and as I sit in front of the blind window that clearly faces WSW with the wind blowing into my face. The milk weed blows to behind me and toward were the sun rises. This has been happening a lot. Wunderground reports a wind direction and it's the exact opposite. Now it could be I don't know my position on the ground, though I'm pretty sure the rising and setting sun / moon is consistent in it's seasonal angles on movement. I can go straight down hill to a main rd and see said road on a map and clearly see its direction. Anyways thanks for the response. I got to get back to sleep I have another 2 hours before the alarm goes off
Lets GO!!!! Dont even know how my alarm got turned off but luckily i have a rut alarm in my brain. Im about 30 min behind but thats not going to ruin anything
Up having coffee. Out the door in an hour. Hoping this guy pays me a visit this morning. He may get a second look if he does.
Changing clothes and heading in, not looking forward to the high winds today but here I am. Good luck everyone!
