45 degree difference from where I’ll be sitting 24 hours from now Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
2007 or 2008 I shot a buck in the morning. Could not find him. Nov 8 or Nov 9 I woke up and drove 50 miles and looked again. No good. Drove home dejected. 75 to 80 degrees or so. Truck broke down so I hunted some weird spot. Got up maybe 1230 to 1pm. Within 20 minutes on stand I killed a decent 8 pt. Crap can happen fast! I'm hoping it does for you today.
Just called in a turkey that brought in a doe. Just as I readied to shoot her a 6 pt blew in chasing her off. Saw decoy and wanted no part of Mr bobbin head buck. Turned the other way into pines. Shes stopped rt. At tree looking back before she came in to 23 then bolted
6pt and another real decent buck in this really thick stuff 50yds away. Caught a glimpse of white horn on the decent one. Has at least 4 on one side. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That is where I am as we speak. I have 20 mph winds and I had a decent size tree cone down about 35 yards from me this morning. I am going to wait until the morning! Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Man, some serious wind gusts going on right now… lol … sigh… Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
110” 8pt from last Friday. Got a pass but is still in there with that doe. Hope she attracts more bucks. Perfect scenario playing out if she stays in there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Rushed home from work to get on stand. At least I’m already seeing some does and fawns. Good luck this evening. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Front moved in early. Dealing with 20mph gusts in my non wind proof early/mid season clothes. No sign of the bucks/doe since the 8 came out and made a scrape. Hope they are still in there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This afternoon I decided to try a brand new spot since the wind is wrong for everywhere else I wanted to go. The terrain and cover look great and I’m only 360 yards from camp. I’ll probably pass on does this evening. I don’t know. It’s been a few days since I killed something and my trigger finger is getting twitchy.
