I'm back home. I watched a buck chase doe up out of gully a long green field into other neighbors swamp bedding. Ya ya can't kill if your not out there...well my hands got so cold they weren't working. then there's the neighbors down hill, that were in some kind of royal fight..WTH...screaming on top of hill, screaming down hill...where the hells the snow so these ppl stay inside! Oh please add to that they all chained their dogs out so they could have a barkathon at each other. Yes tired, discouraged ,still ticked about my "drive away" buck, and kicking myself ...contest!
Oh and 84 pics and another scrape that is 3x3ft. this is just a few out of the parade of buck, spike to well his pic will remain off line
I took another sit off this morning so that I could see Eric off on his trip home. @S.McArthur should be arriving around noon and I’ll be hoping he kills a couple. As for me I’ll rest up a bit today and then get back after them this afternoon. I’ll hope for a buck but I’ll also take another doe if the opportunity presents itself. You all know I’m not picky when it comes to shooting deer.
Close but he’s in the suburbia hell of northern Indiana lol Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
As I climbed into a tree I received a phone call, a friend's son was headed to work and hit a buck with his vehicle. Asked me to meet him at the accident so I could give him a ride to his business and his son could take his trk to go to work. He has taken care of me and my vehicles, so it was at least I could do. Shannon (my friend) owns inspection station/ auto repair shop.
75 degrees at 10am. Haha. Just shot my bow for awhile in shorts. Someone pls kill a deer in shorts today.
I need to get in a tree... Crazy that a last-second appointment popped up this afternoon that I need to attend.
One chasing hard this morning. Ran her all over the place and then it just shut off. Puzzled why it’s so slow.
I've been seeing the same things. Little guys trying to figure it out. Dem bulls still be waiting to walk down the hill and fox them all....
I'm out. It's raining lightly. I'm in a blind overlooking an active scrape in between bedding and ag fields. It's the only opening in really thick bedding. Hoping to catch a mid day cruiser that doesn't want to go to the fields. We'll see if the forecasted t storms hold off or I get it done before then.
We’ve all done it. It’s the excitement of seeing a blood trail. I’m assuming you might have bumped her? Even when I know better, I still ignore what’s best and gots to take a peak.
