Wish I could join in and talk about all the deer I’m seeing but I can’t seem to get on deer. I’m not finding any fresh sign and tons of hunting pressure. Oh well hopefully the weather will change and I will be able to stumble in a few deer.

Another lone big doe I had her at 5 yards directly behind me .. watcher her for 20 minutes… hoping a buck would come pound her like a mallard duck.. but alas….

I'd say he lost too much blood.

Kill a doe, you travelled too far and put in too much effort to go home without something.

Tomorrow is looking to be a good day; 18* temp drop from the last four days, rain chances starting around noon but looking to be light rain. I should be in for a good all day hunt tomorrow as long the rain doesn't get to hard the last few hours of the day. I was planning on hunting all day Friday, but, the rain is supposed intensify overnight on Thursday. I may skip the morning hunt, take my wife out for breakfast after the kids are at school since we are both off Friday, then hunt the afternoon. Good luck today guys!

Crazy to think how old some of them are and been here for generations of families.

Never man! I said that a few years ago, you proceeded to go on killing spree after that. Think you got 12 or so that year. I'm done for the year and monster buck only from here on out.

Past a solid youngin first light this morning. Eight yards, sorry phone footage as rain was predicted so didn’t drag whole cam set up.

Speaking of @LittleChief's killing sprees, it has been five days since his last kill and gun season kicks off on Saturday. I am predicting another deer dies in the next two and half days.

I'll be headed back to NJ tomorrow. May or may not snow here in VT, so may or may not have to plow. So may or may not get a NJ hang and hunt in on thursday afternoon.

But I'm ready to gooooooo! Huge temp drop from last weekend and rain Friday, so I'll be hunting under an umbrella Friday 20231108_094346.jpg 20231108_094330.jpg . Should be a fantastic weekend.

Farms trail cams have no big Bucks. So I'll be hunting public across the river where my daughter saw a 100-110" 8pt and a 130" 9pt, also lots of scrapes and rubs.

    Good luck everyone.
