In blind, 30 minutes until shooting light. Last evening had 4 bucks snd 3 does parade by my stand. All small bucks and the only shot on a doe i had was with a buck in tow and i didn’t want to kill the live bait. Big guys just aren’t interested yet, and these warm temps are keeping them off of their feet until after dark. Thats my theory anyway. Good luck and stay safe everyone

@Ridgerunner3 - nice job on the doe. Long track job?

@bucksnbears - better shoot him before he breaks any more antler off

@pastorjim08 & @Tony - sure hope you guys get shots on the bucks you're seeing

It's November 7th, best day of the year, let's do some killing of the mature bucks!!!

I'll be hunting this afternoon and most of tomorrow.

p.s. - I don't think LFTS shot a buck on Nov 7th in 2021 or 2022....odd for the best day of the year.

Since discovering this scrape area about three weeks ago, this is just some of the action I've captured there. Definitely an active spot! Sitting on my ass, I didn't like the angle of the stand it was to narrow for my liking to put the seat down and turn around. Here's my view. Good luck this morning. IMG_20231107_070528.jpg

I fell off the face of the earth. 5 days no service and on a Garmin InRech. It was a great time. I have a ton of pages to go through, congrats on the killers! I’m heading home soon. Woke up with a bad head cold, going to medicate and rest and I’ll be back out Friday for a week. I almost killed 2 great bucks, no shots fired this trip. Found some some great spots and can’t wait to get back out. Here’s a pic of my setup last night where I almost killed, had a buck roaring and guarding a doe from other bucks it was awesome to be out and see it all unfold.
