Heading home from WI w my tail twixt my legs. Heading up to MI later this week, officially entering Brown/ Down territory.
Alright on to spot 2......Wind was starting to get iffy so got down - I saw another decent young 8 and doe both out a ways from my stand
I just had this guy come in to 20 yards but he got a pass because I know there at least 2 that are bigger around here.
Winds here are just not good for most spots. So hedging bets and hunting a hundred yards from the scrape. At the head of gully stand. Winds blowing from gully to me and from me cross wind from scrape. I walk absolutely huge splade, deep tracts all the away to the stand. To and from Gully. Spritzed some estrus on the current, ridge is behind me. Neighbors sanctuary is in front of me. Wish I were in old reliable but really bad winds for a hunt there right now. Rains due tonight. Everything ranged and time to just settle in .Good luck out there.
I just had one of the bigger 8’s come by chasing a doe at 35 yards but neither one of them stopped, Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
