Good luck, I work until Wednesday, off Thursday - Friday and the weekend if needed. Its hot until Thursday gets back to the 60s, Friday 50s, weekend in the 40s, perfect timing of the temp drop for my rut spots.

It's hard to keep your head in the game during the rut with warm temps. From my limited experience in hunting the midwest during the rut with warm temps....it can still happen at any given moment. Stay focused!

I'm hoping for same, yesterday that big boy was on his feet and moving at 915 Central, exactly 3 hrs after legal light. Similar weather/ wind conditions this AM, hoping for same activity

big bucks in warm weather - it's Nov 6th...they still want action and are willing to cruise looking for it. It's that time of year, regardless of weather. You got a great chance today Tony!!

Also I'm kicking myself for not being aggressive yesterday, I think I could've moved to w/in 40 and gotten a shot. He was in this open pocket so wasn't worried about branches. The wind just died out right when I saw him.

Ah well, still time on the clock, but it is about the 2 minute warning for my WI bow season

I’m climbing down. If I hadn’t seen squirrels yesterday afternoon I’d swear the woods here are sterile. It was such a promising spot.

Time to move on to the next spot.

    This week.

"That's the only way I know
    Don't stop 'til everything's gone
    Straight ahead, never turn round
Don't back up, don't back down
    Full throttle, wide open
You get tired and you don't show it
Dig a little deeper when you think you can't dig no more
That's the only way I know"

I sure could use some coffee, donuts, and a guy to take down all my gear and then transport it to my truck for me.

This one was also very warm in November. I was in a T shirt. Dont remember temp though. I just remember racing the clock to get him on ice . Both were killed near secluded water sources.

Had to come home have yet to plant garlic...long story and need to get it done today. I pulled cards on way home the one with scrape is right at the end of garden in hazelnuts. the time date was corrected when moved. See who was visiting as I was walking down the road to reliable...LOL at least I know he's alive still. Also the two spike from this morning were there last night. haven't checked other card yet but that scrape had 73 pics of buck ,doe, and one fox

What a sickness we have. I was in downtown Chicago for a meeting about this fountain renovation, so I’m answering a few questions about the electrical side and then they start talking about the concrete.
I’m pretending like I’m paying attention, but my mind is thinking “Saturday is supposed to be a north east wind, I can go to that hidden little field with a decoy, do some rattling, it’s perfect “!
The hell is wrong with us?
