That's a hell of buck Clint. Congrats to your friend and for allowing you to hunt. I hope you get a crack at one like that.

I no longer get in the stand and I see what look like two 8 points nose to the ground. Closest they got was 60 yards. There’s got to be a hot doe in here.

Wow, what an exciting morning. I just had a big 4 point that didn’t have any brow tines come in grunting and chasing a doe fawn. Of course he stops at 20 yards broadside. I need your daddy to follow that script.

Just got in the blind. 45 minutes until shooting light. Sitting over a food plot, does are on the menu this morning in the right situation.

Wow!!! Old reliable never fails either does reliable 2 which parallels me at 100 yrds. I got here at 6 quiet walk in. Got tether on and was just trying to set bolt when I happen to glance over my shoulder. Hmmm I don't recall anything out in the lane way. A doe was standing out there then a buck chased her. Another doe in front of me is running and a bucks chasing her. The first doe lands under my stand and the two buck meet in lane way 20 yrds away to fight dark and I can't see racks everyone moves off but at day light the 2 buck come back as I'm at the ready. They feed 15 yrds away broad side both big spike they get down wind of me but I'd had enough time to spritz some doe estrus in the air . No spooking, I sit to type this and here comes another buck down hill to me. Couldn't get phone unlocked in time but he crossed me at 25 and went to old reliable 2 to hang out circling like a dog. So that stands active as well. 4 pointer. Come on dad or boys chase those doe back here. Fun times!

Of i see a big ol bruiser in front of one of my cams today in killing hrs then shame on me. I was up kinda late waiting in the text back from my friend. Havent heard a word from him so im guessing it didnt turn out the best. I got up and even turned on the shower and as i sat on the porcelain throne a pain shot from my mid back down my leg. It was enough for me to turn shower back off and get back in bed. Now i look around at my garage and truck and it looks like a hurricane hit. All 3 of my vehicles are due for oil change. I go back to work tomorrow for 4 days and then off for 10. Time to regroup. May be out for the evening though

After all that excitement first thing this morning it died for about 45 minutes. Just had 2 doe’s and 3 fawns come by in the last 5 minutes. Hopefully a buck gets on there trail and comes by.
