All setup. Dead calm, dead quiet…eerie…. Scouted a few places on my way in…zero sign. Barely a scrape to be found. I’m shooting any deer I see unless it’s a doe looking like she is being chased. Here till dark.

Neighbors tracking a deer to my east can hear them talking all of a sudden a spike chases a doe right by me at 100yds. No care there are humans busting through the swamp not 100yds from them haha.

    Back home
1 mangy blonde coyote. Could have e easily shot but I need it to spread mange through out the den. It also came in on deer trails and circled me. I gathered shooting and wind info from it, never spooked. Did push 2 fawn to me that bedded down behind me and where I came in. Left at 10 and moved off fawns then mid hill between, ladder stand and elevated blind I kicked up a bedded buck 40 yrds away. Caught rump, tail and legs only. His rack was clicking along the trees as he initially bolted. I would have stayed but nieghbor was working on something and the smell of fuel was making me ill.
So,so many beds 9-27 yrds away and completely circling the stand. So many critters and birds in there.
