We had a lone doe come in about 7:45. She spotted us and bolted before my son could get the gun on her. Meanwhile, my oldest is at home head shooting the squirrels with a pellet gun in the back yard at 25 yards.

He died in about 20 yards. I am running home to grab the four wheeler and get changed and grab my boys and then we are going to go out and get him. I made sure to get plenty of blood pictures for you psychopaths!

Hikers and a barking dog. Ah the joys of public. Maybe they will get things moving. Been dead calm here. I’m going to have to pull my set and scout a bit. Wind will be out of the opposite direction tomorrow. Going to wait a bit longer. It’s so peaceful I don’t want to move yet.
