I just saw my first deer. A button buck. It’s doe only today. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Congrats on the doe LC. I’m having a hard time texting from the stand as service is spotty. This morning was dead. Went to the other side of the property to meet up with my buddy after the morning hunt. While we are talking two bucks come and hang out 100 yards from us at different times. Did find a scrape line so hung up a camera. For the evening hunt I’m back up in between a wheat field and a bean field. Sort of a catastrophe getting to the stand but we shall see. My buddy had already seen one. 4 hours 15 minutes left on stand. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Doe 4 and 5. Big Doe and they came running down the hill. Closest one at 30yds. But looking for Bucks
I’m up again, different spot. This is where that buck came through this morning. Never hunted right here but I think I might like it
starting to rain a little, supposed to have a wind change and a temp drop this evening, lets see if it produces anything
My buddy just text me, he has moved 100 yards NE to cover the trail the buck took i to the bed this morning. The buck is bedded on a small island a cross a creek chanel that feeds into a lake. That buck has no other exit except to swim 400 yards to the other side of the lake.
Finally in the stand. Not expecting to see much with all the commotion out here this afternoon. Final sit with my bow until rifle season is over. Usually bring both so we will see. Good luck everyone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Heard a deer sneeze in the cattails. With in 50 yards. Must be bedded out there. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
I know if I kill tonight, I'm going home and having a beer. It's been too long. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Sitting in standing corn. 5 rows in front of me there are 12 rows of picked corn. 10 yards to my left is picked corn. I cut 5 stalks down for 5 rows and the cut back to the left so I am not in the opening. I also have a shot to my left straight down a row. Gotta be paying attention tonight! Hoping it stays breezy. I've never shot a deer with my bow from the ground. I'm all giddy.
