Back in, got held up by two Doe that I jumped and then stood around forever till they finally wandered off.

Thanks, they are my heart so any and all prayers for my loved one to be safe and healed the 16th and then the other issue that's being watched resolve without issue would be truly appreciated. If I could trade places I would in a heart beat no matter the out come.
In for a short mid day sit. Would sit till dark, but I get to see my youngest daughter tonight. Pretty pumped about that. Preemptive congrats to LC for the rest of the season. Those poor deer....

Well, I wanted to be in the tree by 11, but ram a little behind. Got here about 1.5hr ago and did a little scouting. Something in my gut said “right here”, so that’s where I am. Good covered travel path, big trees down creating a funnel, small brackish water pond behind me, and a ton of rubs, only found a couple dry scrapes. Hopefully I don’t have to wait until dark. Also pooped upwind of me for a little cover scent.
You're a stud Johnny on a Quest! Great job tracking the deer. I loved seeing that blood and hope to spill some tonight. Where did the arrow exit?
Beautiful day, 60, sunny, 10mph wind out of the west, squirrels and birds out, saw two Doe already. November only gets a little better than this., like seeing antlers walking through the brush.
