I agree. Any hit below the spine where the lungs are at least nicks the onside lung. There is no such thing as the mythical "void" below the spine where the lungs are situated.
I agree with others that said brisket. That being said I've seen deer that were killed by that shot when a good vein was hit. Best of luck to you.
Congrats and he will be in my prayers and thoughts. I just got gut punched twice last night with such news and will be worrying the next two weeks and sitting in a hospital waiting room the last day of early bow. God Bless
At public, gearing up for scouting hang and hunt. Really thinking about tomorrow, wind is obnoxious. Not sure if I will have much signal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So here's how things are going Saw Zip this morning Went to look for arrow, what a cluster ----! I forgot wild rose also grows there. Thorn embedded thumb and finger, ripped jacket zero arrow. Which got me worried so again retraced his tracks and where he jumped both my fences and went to neighbors swamp. Went as far as checking tracks there a bit. He laid down deep tracks but not a drop of blood. Made me feel better. Thinking my 30 " shaft didn't clear his ribs before the spin as he recovered from the flip. If he caught the back end God knows where it landed. I'm done thinking about it. I come home because NYS forces you to buy a MUZZLE LOADING LICENSE in order to use a CROSSBOW in ARCHERY the last two weeks and I needed to go buy one. It's 10 a. m. When I hit porch to remove hunt clothes. I look up in cut corn to see a giant buck full board chasing a doe up out of our woods. Past blind I was in when tree fell the other morning. Going so fast both fully stretched out not looking like they are even touching the ground . She dead stops at hedge row and they both stand looking back to my woods. She then bolts and she brings right back the way they came. Where was I hunting this morning? As far away as I could have been and still be on my land I have from now to the 15th to get a deer. After that due to some scary news life is up in the air as it were. Grand scheme of things....getting a deer ...not so important.
Found some big rubs and scrapes not 100 yds from the road. Between the road and bedding area where I saw that buck go in this morning. Decisions
Congrats to him! good luck @snuff!! nothing to report here, wind is swirling, but I can’t kill if I’m not here
