I put a buddy in the spot I hunted yesterday morning because I couldn’t get out of work today. The big buck I saw yesterday just came in and bedde at 75 yards with two smaller bucks. There is a doe bedded behind him at 50 yards. The bucks are watching the mock scrape we put out yesterday after I got done hunting.

Nothing for me. Didn't see a thing on the stand, bumped 3 does on the way out, bedded down in the CRP mid morning only about 100 yds from the stand, but tucked behind a thicket. Odd they weren't on the move.

Mid body exit with arrow hanging out? Like mid rib cage? He will probably rip that arrow out and good blood will be there for you to track. Lung or liver? Wait 4 hrs min.

Thoughts on the arrow pics above? I would have sworn that the arrow hit barely in front of the right front leg, maybe even grazing the leg bone. She was almost completely broadside, possible very slightly quartering away. The hairs on the arrow don't look stark white but they aren't dark brown. I'm really thinking this might have been a brisket hit and she's not going to die.

My brother is supposed to be here at 11:30 or 12:00 and we can at least go look and see if there is a decent blood trail.

That sure looks like brisket… looks like a lot of fat on the arrow?

I’m no expert by any means and suck at bow hunting as proof of my shot this morning but it kind of looks like a brisket hit to me
