43 degrees, not a cloud in the sky, stiff 10 mph west wind. Heated vest turned on, heated pants warming up my farts. Thinking about putting a hot hand between the back of my neck and Sitka gaiter, but that’ll put me to sleep

There’s no way I’d take a beagle to track a hog that’s been shot.

I’ll just call that arrow a loss.

Just got this rechargeable one in the mail today. Will let you know how it works.

Got in a bit ago. Bit later than I would have liked but work said F you. At least I’m in a tree and it’s November. Almost went to the south end to check out the chasing but my wind is not good. I’m sure I will get a picture of a shooter down there shortly.

    Good luck everyone!

Back at it. man is this blind dirty
Fixed window that should help. Breezy and quiet. Apple trees still loaded and chestnuts still dropping. WW/oats did not do nearly as well as on top of hill or they have eaten it down to dirt. I found two new scrapes right at the garden gate and hazel nut shrubs. Wind is bad for there. Not best for here but I'm in the blind. I also have no idea which direction they'll arrive from so a gamble either way.

Ok, moved a stand into one of my more familiar spots because the wind was just a little wrong for where it was. Of course, I get the thing hung and climb in and the wind starts to shift. Why do they even predict weather any more? They're almost always wrong

I got down a 11 am and scouted with a friend that was hunting a different spot on the WMA. I showed hin where the two bucks cane through for me this morning and found a different tree 20 yards closer. If I had gone to that tree this morning, I would have killed both bucks. I had to go home for family stuff, sitting in the pick up line at school.

We found a killer white oak grove loaded with acorns and droppings. He is set up there for the evening. I am expecting a text later that he has killed something.

It's called reynauds disease and it does look freaky when their hands turn white or blue. I understand it's also painful. It has to do with circulation

I have a set of those. They work great. I always keep hand warmers in the pack just in case the batteries wear out. I also keep two battery charging packs to power heater vest, phone or hand warmers.

a042ded1-9471-4e0f-ab4a-55c09a67f5a7.jpg Never thought I'd say it but..., I have TOO MANY deer here.
Got this pic a bit ago where I was planning on sitting. He's out back now harrasing does.
    Can't get to my stand.

My bestest buddy, hes 81, is sitting over my pumpkin plot out front.
2 nice bucks were here this morning.
I'm stuck in the cabin. Gonna make a big batch of chicken stew and hopefully watch him shoot one of them.
He's sitting on my wood pile right above the barrel.

Nicest day in the past 7 days. This kinda sucks. Lol.

Sitting in the only stand I haven't been in on this farm. I'm at the end of a horrible drought. I plan on killing tonight!

    Who's with me!?!?
