This threads starting to pick up a little speed! New things, I got a hell of a deal on a tru-fire sear release, started shooting around with it, and it seems to help a lot with my group sizing. My old back tension release just never really felt this good. Took the VXR out to a 3D shoot last weekend and felt very confident. its about time to broadhead tune it and sight in. The SS34 still has some set up and monkeying around yet before I feel as confident with it. Mainly sight leveling/adjustment New trail cam on the way, ill get out this or next weekend and get treestand up and camera mounted, maybe a mineral block, and I'll be able to throw some pics on here as well! 42 days
I'm up on stand to kick my season off! Hoot owls are going nuts! Frogs are chirping up a storm. Gosh I've missed this! Just need a buck to play nice and come in range today! Sent from my SM-S911U using Tapatalk
Hotter than hell here today so I’m going to kill a few areas for plots again before planting next weekend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Come on out of the swamp you sobs! Mature buck, trash buck, and the young gun are all still running together.
Well already had a cooper's hawk scream at me this morning. Got on stand late this morning. Squirrels are going nuts there is about 20 of them parkouring between trees. Sent from my SM-S911U using Tapatalk
First shot at 40 this morning with a broadhead. It is a great feeing knowing the bow is on and if its a bad shot, its you not the equipment.
Truck and garage organization day. Sometimes I don't know where anything hunting related is located. Haha
Looks nicer than Arkansas. It was 81 with heat index of 92 at 8am when I shot this morning. Got up to 102 feeling like 118 in the hottest part of the day. I hate this weather.
Supposed to be 97+ here in Great Lakes this week. Putting a dent in my plans to reseed fall plots from the ashes of my spring plots.
Got some stands hung yesterday and some cameras out can’t wait most excited I’ve been in a few years Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Had an insert backing out, so did what once normally does, and removed it. Heated it up field point and pulled it out. Well...****. Downtown to 10 carnivores now.
I cannot tell you how much milder the weather is here compared to where I was living or even 20 minutes from here. We are in the foothills and it's usually 5 to 7 degrees cooler here than the piedmont elevations and the evenings are just awesome. Mid 60s for lows right now. Pretty much perfect.
