    Well gonna be late this morning. Came up on hazard lights in the middle of nowhere BFE. It was a young girl with a flat tire. She was trying to call her dad but he wasn’t answering. I would hope a decent human would help my daughter in a situation like that. I know its scary to even accept help from strangers these days but i left it up to her of course I offered to change tire, stay there until she got a hold of someone or just leave. She said she would be very grateful if i changed the tire lol. At least i carry a dewalt heavy duty 1/2” impact driver and impact sockets in my truck. Along with a good bottle jack. Had her back on her way to work in about 20 min. Oh well maybe ill have some good karma today Lord knows i need it

    Happy November all! I’m up in PA at my gun club, sitting on a logging road at the top of the ridge with a good scrape at 17 yards, 3 different bucks came through to check it yesterday morning, also think they are just using this trail to cruise and check does. Hoping a big one makes a mistake here this morning. It’s nice and cold, finally broke out my fanatic set. 5 minutes before I got here this guy came through IMG_1398.JPG

    Good luck out there guys! I have about 20 minutes to light.

    This new guy showed up on the scrape where I sat last evening.

    Just weird that the bucks here just have a hard time breaking 150".

    Good luck everyone. I haven’t had a smooth morning one time this year, but I’ve seen more shooters than I ever have. I was worried I was going to walk right in, as I’d left my stuff in the tree last night. I didn’t think I was going to have any trials and tribulations until I went to put my coat on before climbing up……forgot my release. I’m using my back up bc my main one is broken. Normally I have a spare in the bag.

    Back to the house I went, but if it woulda been all smooth and easy this morning, I’d be worried that I wouldn’t see anything!

    Let’s get this party started

    I’m all set up. It’s the coldest it’s been so far at 23 degrees. It’s dead calm and I should be able to hear anything that gets close.
