Gonna be a spooky PM shift. I've seen no less than 20 deer on my way to the property.

Dead zone here the past 3 hours. Red squirrels and crows flying over is the only action. Hour or so to go.

There is a doe and a medium 8 point about 80 yards out. He didn't follow her.

Getting ready for trick or treat with the kids then tomorrow will be an all day affair! Hoping its killing in the morning and gutting and dragging and hanging in the afternoon instead of sitting all day with no arrows launched. Either way it will be an all dayer and better than being at work! Time to ditch my private ground and pound some big buck public spots i have up my sleeve

couldnt make the PM sit, but had a very fun AM sit .. bucks were chasing like crazy, 23 degrees at sunrise, windy/snowy-not sticking much ....7 different bucks came by chasing various does ... a very nice 10pt was dogging a doe and I was at full draw twice on him under 30yds, but never made the shot, either he wouldnt stop or brush/limbs were in the way.. he followed the doe up on a small ridge and she bedded, so did he. .. I watched him at 60yds for two hours as he slept and groomed himself ... then the doe got up went west, he got up went west and that was that .. the other bucks were 1.5-2.5yr olds, they all came by chasing grunting after the does, the 10 was at least 3.5 and he let out 3 times a long drawn out deep grunt as he stood watching the doe, plus regular grunts, I got down at noon (I love sits like this) .. I'll be back out tomorrow for the PM-dark sit, different location .. I hope to be up and settled by 12/1pm after the waterfowl guys clear out.. ...

Just had a smallish buck cruise by at about 80yds. He went into a bedding area and chased a doe out. She ran about 30yds and started munching on acorns. He stands and watched for about 15 minutes and then ran at her again. She just kinda moved off and followed but not aggressively. He got within 30yds of me but he was just a youngun.

Smaller sized doe just popped out at 50. Took a pee and laid down some scent for me.

I really want to put a stand at the new property ASAP though. Shooters moving during daylight on camera.
