Windy here and the snow just stopped. I'm up, hoping something will cruise by without a care in the world, until it intersects with the flight path of my arrow!

Would it be helpful for me to bring my trailer & UTV with me tomorrow?

Well here we go again. Ive gotta start seeing buck movement here soon. There’s no way there’s not a shooter around here somewhere.

No, we won’t need more than one. It’s for emergencies only.

I’m back up in a different spot.

Question for anyone who hunts where there are feral hogs: Do they tend to use the same path repeatedly like deer?

If I move to where I saw them traveling this morning what are the chances of them taking the same path again?

I’ve never killed one and while it’s illegal to actually hunt them here in Missouri they are legal targets of opportunity if you’re deer hunting.

It’s windy and cold but the winds should be dying by dark. Have a big branch rubbing a tree that sounds exactly like a buck grunt.

    Arrow launched….. at a turkey.

Misjudged the yardage and trimmed a couple feathers off its breast.

Thanks man. She was definitely a mature cow. I processed her myself and couldn't believe the layer of fat that covered her entire body, crazy.

Halloween take 2. Had a huge 8 pushing does this morning. In a gentle creek bottom now it’s tore up.[IMG]

Awesome! We rode our machines up there a few weeks ago. Saw my first moose, an enormous bull trotting on the trail right in front of us. Beautiful area and great fishing from what I hear.
