Time to start putting a trail cam facing your truck every hunt. Too many people out there that think because they have hunted an area for so long it's theirs.

What's that say that is faded? Somethingg about any public land that is land locked? That's pretty much impossible as all land has to have some sort of access, be it private or public.

Going by his writing I would say you're dealing with someone 25 years of age or younger.

Im with RR3 give it to a game warden and let them deal with it. And I'd make sure everything is locked up everytime you go in and out just to be precautionary.

I’d have a conservation officer call him and line him out

He's not very smart, that's a given. But to prove his stupidity he gave up his cell phone number. Anything happens, you pretty much have an admission of guilt before the incident occurs.

Hell, you're a LEO, you know the drill

Contact the game warden. That’s not ok.

The dumbass has no clue. He thinks you're trespassing getting to the landlocked public, when in fact you are taking a kayak to access the piece legally. I'd definitely call the conservation officer. If not, next will be slow leaks in your tires. This guy is in for a rude awakening when he finds out what you are doing is legal and what he is doing is hunter harassment and illegal. I'd love to see his reaction when he hears this and finds out you're a LEO! I'd hunt it even harder now!

I’m out, saw 2 does and 4 fawns at last light. If would have been able to hunt the other stand that I was in I probably would’ve gotten a shot at the doe I’m after.

If you guys want to know we drew straws and I got the “bearded woman” in our group for our “circus freaks” costumes. I’m in a bra and a dress not hunting bucks in the morning all for the lady. My face is wind burnt from all day in the stand and look like a freak. Something has to give. My luck is not well lately.

Finally saw a shooter. Right about 45 minutes before dark. He came in pushing a couple does. He walked parallel to me about 75 yards out. I was in the swamp and he was in the wide open woods. Never fails! He pushed 1 doe to me and thought it might happen for a minute. But he went down the marsh making scrapes. Could hear him til almost dark. Back at it tomorrow!

I'm finally out. Decided to stay until I had to use my light to get out. Was worth it. Saw two bucks long distance that are in the killum pool.

Weather dependent Nov. 3rd through the 19th.

I have no confidence whatsoever, going to be completely blind public land hunts.

My truck has a bad shudder/vibration/misfire that I am trying to figure out. Actually considering the option of renting a U-Haul pick up.
