We’re in the blind after a small rack 5.5yr old we named scar! Gnarly looking buck! Was hit by a car but he’s crushed by quite a few times I. The last 24 hours

I’m up, tonight I am in the NE corner of the property sitting on the end of a plot. I have never had a stand on this end of the plot so we shall see. Plan is they should come from my right to left feeding through the plot. Good luck everyone! image.jpg

IMG_2200.jpeg Had a doe and twins come in, the damn doe came straight to me again. Then she got down wind and tried to pick me off but couldn’t. She finally got nervous enough and went back the way she came, fawns are still in the plot though. Now I’m on a mission to kill her…

Her fawns have been bedded about 35 yds away for the past 20 minutes… at least they are upwind facing away from me.

I just got a text and then a call from my Dad about 10 minutes ago. He shot splits in Ohio this evening. I am so happy for him. This was my other target buck that I passed last year in Ohio because I thought he was only a 3.5 year old. I stayed home in PA this weekend and he went out with my BIL. What a buck. I can't wait to see pictures of him behind it. IMG_4494.jpg IMG_4495.jpg IMG_4496.jpg

I have a real nosey neighbor. She is like 85 years old and is always in everyone's business. Lol.

I've been packing for an all day hunt tomorrow. Cleaning house. Taking care of dogs. Dishes. Shopping for food for kids. I'm a mess.

Well I finally pack my stuff up in my truck. 5min later she comes over with a flashlight in her hand and knocks on the door. Tells me "you are fired as an officer" then proceeds to tell me my truck door is open. Not only was it open but my internal light was on and the neighbors cat was inside my truck.

Tomorrow's hunt is gonna be a crap show I just know it. Long live Betty Sue for saving my hunt! LOL

I have the exact same feeling about my hunt lol. I just got done getting everything ready myself. It seems like a lot more than it really is. Put warm clothes on, pack only essentials, grab your bow, and go hunt.

The one difference for me is I might pack my bibs and jacket in. Haven’t really figured out how I’m going to do that. Have never done it.

Jake I have used a 5 gallon bucket with a lid to stuff mine in. Light weight and easy to carry water proof. Of course I used one I camo painted.
